If you click on this picture, it should be a bit more detailed. This is why we love to ride. It's so close and convenient and really beautiful. This is the American River Bike Trail (this is where I kept seeing the Team HealthNet riders). It's about 32 miles end to end. When I do my 60+ mile rides, I ride it end to end and back again. I never get tired of it, it's really a pretty ride. The river and the seasons seem to change the scenery all the time. It starts in Sacramento at mile marker 1 and ends in Folsom at mile marker 32. Janice I ride every weekend. Team Duckey members Aline and Mary have been on the trial when they have visited from Michigan or New Jersey (or LA) and my dad has been to Lake Natoma to take pictures of us kayaking. Hmmm... Now that I think about it Judy, Cecily and Chelsey have been on the trail too. How cool, that was last March! And Team Ducky member Martha goes way back with the trail as she lived nearly right on it across from Goethe Park for many years and now lives almost exactly across the river. Awesome spot for hiking and walking the pups. We are lucky. I am thankful.
