This is Team Ducky logistics coordinator Martha Mapp posing with former WNBA Sacramento Monarchs guard Ruthie Bolton-Holifield. Ruthie was All-WNBA First Team (1999, 1997), two-time WNBA All-Star, and scored over 2,000 career-points. She is WNBA's fourth all-time leader in 3-pointers made. Martha is a huge Monarchs fan. Last year we got to see the Monarchs win the 2005 final WNBA championship game vs (who? who cares?) Connecticut I think. It was an awesome series and an awesome game.
Martha's role on Team Ducky is a little behind the scenes but very much needed and appreciated. She is doing a lot of driving for us up front to San Francisco and in San Francisco as we head out. Then she is meeting up with us again on the route on day 4 and will be with us to the end. And then she drives us home! In addition, her support has been awesome over these last six months with helping plan, fundraise and put together parties. We could not have done it without her. Thank you Martha!
