Buzz Kill

Today I worked from home so that I could (ugh I totally just had to tear apart this keyboard to clean it so I could type; the spacebar was sticking) meet the Cerebral Palsy Foundation who came to pick up the contents of our garage. We had lots of clothes, shoes, suits, and some really decent furniture and miscellaneous stuff. It’s all gone and I am very happy. I can’t wait to clean the garage tomorrow. Imagine the space, the bare concrete, the empty void of garage.

While I was waiting (they finally arrived at 2pm) I did some work and chores and cleaned up my road bike. I have been riding my flat bar road bike but I feel it’s time to switch to my Bianchi and get more serious. It is the bike I will ride for the Cinderella. So it’s all set for tomorrow. I also have my stuff packed and my clothes ready. I want to get out early so I can get home in the early afternoon. I also updated my iPod so I will have some fresh music. My plan is to ride from here to Old Sac and back (40 miles.) I really want to head up to Beales Point but I will wait until I feel a little stronger. I had a nice long walk today out on the trail near the river. It was beautiful. My legs are feeling it but probably more from running and climbing this week as well. I feel pretty good. I promised myself not to overdo it (or sprint on concrete with my nephew Joe ever again.)

I’m limiting my alcohol intake as well. Did you know there are 200 calories in a 12oz SNPA?

This is what we have to look forward to:
