Go Ahead and Google Me...

Once and a while I will Google people I would love to get back in touch with from my four year enlistment in the US Army in the '80s. My searches never turn anyone up. These people are amazingly undigital. So I Google myself and I'm spattered everywhere. I don't care anymore about my web presence. I used to. The oldest living Jane footprints on the web I think are from Group Study (a Cisco CCNA/CCNP study site) and my Pine Mountain Group credentials from 1999/2000. Before that nothing lingered, nothing was searchable. Now various profiles can be viewed; SETI/BOINC, AIDS/LifeCycle, LinkedIn, Orkut, My blog etc... I am an open book.
